CloudBird

Poetry and Folk collide with foot tapping road trip sing a long’s, entwining guitars, harmonies, girl/boy, yin/yang, north/south, land/sea, cloud/ bird
CloudBird are Justine Wahlin, Peter Fenwick and Anthony “Pumps” Haller, three song writers blending their love of rhythm, melody and harmony into a roughly definable form they like to call crash country/blues/folk..or something like that…
CloudBird came together in early 2016 when, after meeting in a bar and spending a good chunk of the night reciting lyrics over the noisy bar room hum, they decided they better get together for a jam…best decision ever.

Since then they’ve been entertaining audiences all over Sydney and at festival shows in Goulburn, Bundeena, Lugarno, Tamworth and Nimbin, as well as a recent tour to Sweden. Festivals as it turns out, are the natural habitat of this trio but they are equally at home in an intimate listening environment.
Pete and Justine are also the founders and hosts of the Red Dog Studio Sessions held monthly in Randwick, an initiative designed to give emerging artists a platform and increase the diversity of listening gigs in Sydney.
Their Debut EP will be released in 2018
