Anthony Lycenco Best Album Award

The Australian Roots Music Awards are pleased to announce their WINNERS for 2017!
Two local musicians have been recognised at the Australian Roots Music Awards held at the Nimbin Roots Festival 2017.
The late Anthony Lycenko, a renowned record producer from Byron Bay, and the late alt-country singer-songwriter Karl Broadie, both had award categories named in their honour.
Lismore’s Luke Vassella won Karl Broadie Best Song for Something Good a song about the devastating Lismore floods in March this year.
Tullara from Grafton won Best EP for her release Better Hold On.
The Anthony Lycenko Best Album was awarded to Sydney artist Justine Wahlin for A Long Way from Home.
