Top of the World
The 7th Episode of Top of the World this year welcomes Artist Justine Wahlin to the Podcast. This month’s special guest artist was recently awarded the Anthony Lycenko Best Album of the Year at the 2017 ARMA awards at the Nimbin Roots Festival, for her album, A Long Way From Home. She performed both as a solo artist at the festival and also with her duo “Cloudbird” with musical partner Peter Fenwick. This was Justine’s first full length album which followed on from her 2012 EP, Conversations with Crows which was also warmly received.
Justine has performed at the Factory and Metro Theatres, The Sandringham Hotel, The Bald Faced Stag, Bar 34 in Bondi, Ravesi’s, The Excelsior Hotel and many others including private shows.
With a solo album A Pair of Dreamers in the works, her duo Cloudbird securing festival opportunities across the country and the founder and organiser of the successful live house concert series Red Dog Studio Sessions in operation for over a year we welcome Justine to this month’s episode of Top of the World.
